At Zenai, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data when you use our service.
We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, WhatsApp Business number, business name). We also collect usage data such as message counts, response times, and feature usage to improve our service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We use your information to provide and improve the Zenai service, send important account notifications, process payments via M-Pesa or card, and provide customer support. We may use aggregated, anonymised data for analytics and product improvement.
Zenai processes WhatsApp messages on your behalf to power your AI assistant. Message content is processed in real-time and is not stored permanently unless you have explicitly enabled conversation history in your dashboard. We comply with Meta's WhatsApp Business API policies.
Your data is stored on servers located in the European Union (Hetzner). We implement industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest. Access to customer data is strictly limited to authorised Zenai personnel on a need-to-know basis.
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow for reactivation, then permanently deleted. You can request immediate deletion by emailing hello@zenai.co.ke.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You may also request a data export or object to certain processing activities. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@zenai.co.ke.
